Weekend Weather Forecast for Sequatchie Valley — Sunny Saturday, Storms Possible Sunday ☀️
As summer settles into the Sequatchie Valley, residents are getting a mixed bag this weekend: a perfect Saturday for outdoor activities followed by Father’s Day rain chances on Sunday. 🌤️ The shift reflects the region’s typical early-summer pattern of alternating dry and humid spells.
Friday started humid across the valley, but drier air is already moving in as the day progresses. 💨 Temperatures will reach the low to mid-80s under a mix of sun and clouds, with humidity levels gradually dropping throughout the afternoon and evening.
Saturday is shaping up to be the standout day of the weekend. 🎉 Lows will dip into the 50s in mountain areas and the low to mid-60s in valley areas overnight, creating refreshingly cool conditions. Highs will settle in the 80s with lower humidity, making it ideal for grilling, pool time, and other outdoor plans. According to Chase Bryant Weather, Saturday will be the best day for outdoor activities this weekend.
The pattern shifts starting Father’s Day Sunday. 🌧️ Wind direction will turn southerly as a front approaches, bringing scattered rain and thunderstorms to the afternoon and evening. While not everyone in the region will see rain, those with outdoor plans should monitor forecasts. Rain and storm chances will continue on a scattered basis Monday and Tuesday as the front moves through, with highs remaining in the 80s.
Residents planning Father’s Day gatherings are advised to keep an eye on the forecast and have backup indoor plans ready. ⛈️
