Sanctuary in Trauma Recruiting SiT Trainers for Summer Accelerated Sessions
Sanctuary in Trauma is now recruiting individuals interested in becoming SiT Trainers through accelerated training sessions beginning this June. The organization is seeking passionate individuals who want to bring Christ-centered trauma care to their communities and lead healing sessions in their churches and ministries.
The accelerated SiT sessions will be held on two different schedules to accommodate various availability. Participants can choose between Thursday evening sessions from 6–8 PM starting June 4th, or Thursday morning sessions from 10 AM–12 PM starting June 11th. Both options will provide participants with the tools and heart of the SiT program while preparing them for future trainer roles.
According to the organization, this accelerated program is designed for those who have a heart to walk alongside women who are hurting and want to develop the skills to lead a SiT Session. The training emphasizes the importance of doing the work personally first before leading others through the healing process.
Interested community members can learn more about the program and register for either session by visiting the Sanctuary in Trauma website at sanctuaryintrauma.org/sit-sessions/ Those with questions about the trainer recruitment or the accelerated sessions are encouraged to reach out through the organization’s website.
