🥤 Van Buren County's First Dr. Pepper Festival Coming December 5th – Vendors and Competitors Wanted

The Van Buren-Spencer Chamber of Commerce is launching a brand-new community celebration this December, bringing a festive, themed festival to the Square in Spencer. For residents across the Cumberland Plateau region, it’s a chance to support local makers, enjoy seasonal fun, and be part of something the chamber is building for the first time.

📅 Festival Details & What to Expect

The Dr. Pepper Festival takes place December 5th, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m. on the Square in Van Buren County. 🎄 Vendor setup begins at 10 a.m., and the chamber is organizing both indoor craft booths and outdoor food vendor spaces. The theme is Dr. Pepper-organizers are encouraging vendors to embrace the theme through their products, décor, displays, recipes, and packaging.

The festival will feature competitions and activities for all ages, including Dr. Pepper-inspired recipe contests, ugly sweater competitions, art displays, and Christmas-themed festivities. ✨ Whether you’re a vendor, competitor, or community member, there’s a way to participate.

🛍️ Vendor Opportunities & Booth Fees

The chamber is actively recruiting local businesses, makers, and vendors. Booth fees are affordable and tiered by vendor type:

  • Food Vendors (Food Trucks): $50 | Outdoor space | Note: Power is not guaranteed-generators are needed
  • Sweets Vendors: $20 | Indoor booth | Sizes vary
  • Craft Vendors: $20 | Indoor booth | Sizes vary

All vendors must provide their own tables and chairs. Booth and space assignments will be handled by the chamber. 🏆 Vendor applications are live and can be submitted online.

🎉 How to Get Involved

Community members can participate in three ways: set up as a vendor, enter a competition, or simply attend and enjoy the day. The chamber is encouraging local businesses and makers to apply, as well as anyone interested in competing in recipe contests, art displays, or other festivities. 💡 Both vendor applications and event/competition applications are available online through Google Forms.

This inaugural festival represents an opportunity for Van Buren County to gather around a shared celebration and strengthen community connections during the holiday season. ❤️
