The Charlie Allen Band Brings Live Music to The Ugly Mug on May 29th

Spencer residents are invited to enjoy an evening of live music and delicious food at The Ugly Mug on May 29th, 2026. The Charlie Allen Band will take the stage at 6:30 PM, performing a mix of classic country, rock, and original songs that promise to keep the crowd entertained throughout the night.

In response to community requests for later music performances, The Ugly Mug has adjusted the start time to allow the show to continue as long as guests are enjoying themselves. This is an excellent opportunity to experience the always-popular Charlie Allen Band in an intimate local setting.

The festivities begin even earlier for those with an appetite. Starting at 4:00 PM, The Ugly Mug will be serving up wild-caught fried flounder sandwiches. These specialty sandwiches are prepared on ciabatta hoagie bread and come with your choice of cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion, topped with house-made remoulade sauce. Diners can also request their flounder sandwich wrapped instead of on bread. Each sandwich comes with a choice of side.

Whether you’re coming for the food, the music, or both, The Ugly Mug promises good food, good music, and cold drinks. This is a perfect opportunity to support a local business while enjoying quality entertainment with friends and neighbors in Spencer.
