Story Time & U-Pick Farm Day at Stone Creek Farm in Dunlap , TN — Thursday 10am 🌱

As families across the Sequatchie Valley look for outdoor activities this summer, Stone Creek Farm is bringing together storytelling and hands-on gardening in a single morning event. The farm’s combination of educational programming and seasonal u-pick operations reflects a growing trend of agritourism experiences in the valley that connect children with nature and local agriculture. 🌾

Stone Creek Farm is hosting Story Time at the Farm this Thursday, June 18th at 10am CST, featuring Eric Carle’s beloved children’s classic The Tiny Seed. 📚 After hearing the story of a seed’s journey, children will have the opportunity to plant their own seed to take home—a hands-on way to inspire curiosity about the natural world and gardening from an early age.

The farm will be open all day Thursday from 7am to 2pm CST for U-Pick Berries & Blooms. 🫐 Admission is just $1 per person, with fresh berries available at $5 per pound and cut flowers priced at $16 per cup. Families can make a full morning of it—enjoying story time, planting a seed, and picking fresh blueberries and flowers to bring home. ✨

This event combines education, outdoor recreation, and local farm-fresh products in one affordable outing. Whether you’re looking to introduce your children to gardening or simply want to spend time picking berries in the valley, Stone Creek Farm offers a welcoming destination for families this Thursday morning. 🌻
