🎃 Seventh Annual Spook Stroll Comes to Griffith Elementary School on October 17

The Seventh Annual Spook Stroll returns to Dunlap this fall with a fresh route designed to keep families safe while they enjoy treats and entertainment from dozens of local businesses and community organizations. This year’s event promises the same festive Halloween spirit the Sequatchie Valley has come to expect, with organizers taking extra care to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees.

Mark your calendar for October 17 at 2 p.m. sharp. Entry will not begin before 2 p.m., so plan to arrive on time to make the most of the afternoon.

📍 Where

The Spook Stroll will take place at Griffith Elementary School in Dunlap. This year, all vendors will be set up in an enclosed area between the IF building and the end of the fourth-grade hallway, creating a safe, contained route for families to walk through. Entry points are located between parking areas 15-16 and 1-2 on the school map.

✨ What to Expect

More than 30 local businesses and community organizations are participating this year, including Little Caesars, Hardee’s, Udder Yum Ice Cream, Grayson's Bakeshop, and many others. Families will also see booths from local favorites like Adrenaline Trampoline Park, Kiddo Kove, and Game Shack Cafe, plus community groups and local services. Whether your kids are trick-or-treating for candy or just soaking in the Halloween fun, there’s something for everyone. 🍬

🚗 Safety First

Organizers made a deliberate choice to modify the route this year due to football playoffs happening on the other side of the school on the same day. The barricaded vendor area keeps pedestrians away from vehicle traffic, and only vendors will be allowed to drive inside the enclosed zone.
