🎨 Monthly Art Classes Offer Step-by-Step Instruction in Drawing, Watercolor & Acrylic

For artists of all skill levels seeking hands-on instruction in a welcoming environment, Nela Renae Swiney in Dayton offers a structured monthly class schedule designed to build confidence and creative skills without requiring prior experience.

📅 Class Schedule & Format

Classes run during the first full week of each month, with each medium offered on a dedicated day. First Mondays feature drawing instruction, first Thursdays focus on watercolor techniques, and first Saturdays are dedicated to acrylic painting. All regular monthly classes begin at 12:30 p.m. and run through 3:00 p.m. ✏️

Upcoming sessions include January 2027 classes on drawing cylinders and candles (January 4), watercolor candle and fire subjects (January 7), and acrylic candle painting (January 9). February brings instruction on drawing and painting horses, while March focuses on sea shells across all three mediums.

⭐ What Makes These Classes Accessible

All supplies are provided, so participants need only wear art-friendly clothing and bring a willingness to learn. The step-by-step instruction approach means no prior drawing or painting ability is required-each session guides participants through the creative process from start to finish. 🎯

Classes are designed for ages 16 and up, creating a friendly adult learning environment where skill levels range from complete beginners to experienced artists seeking to refine their technique in new mediums.
