Kids Creative Summer Camp Brings Art to Life This June

Smalltown Ceramics is hosting a Kids Creative Summer Camp this June, offering young artists a hands-on opportunity to explore multiple art forms and take home their own creations. The camp will run on four consecutive Mondays: June 3, 10, 17, and 24, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Children ages 8 and up will participate in a variety of creative activities, including canvas painting, clay hand-building, trinket tray design, and slip pouring into plaster molds. All materials are provided, making this an ideal introduction to art for beginners and young artists of all skill levels.

“This is a hands-on creative experience where kids get to explore art, build confidence, and take home their own unique creations,” organizers say. The camp welcomes participants regardless of prior artistic experience.

Location and Logistics: The camp will be held at Smalltown Ceramics, located at 15875 Rankin Ave in Dunlap, Tennessee. Children may be dropped off at 2:00 p.m. and must be picked up by 5:00 p.m.; additional fees will apply for late pickups. Popcorn and water will be provided as snacks.

Registration and Fees: The registration fee is $100 per child, with cash discounts and additional discounts available for multiple students. Parents must sign a consent form with contact information at registration. Spaces are limited and expected to fill quickly.

To reserve your child’s spot or for more information, message Smalltown Ceramics directly through their Facebook page.
