Van Buren County’s chamber of commerce has lined up a quartet of seasonal events that promise to bring neighbors together, from haunted trails and ghost stories to turkey trots and a Dr. Pepper festival-each one a chance to experience local hospitality and holiday spirit.

The festivities kick off this Saturday, October 24th, with two simultaneous events. Trail of Treats begins at 5 p.m., offering families a spooky-but-fun walk through a candy-filled route. At the same time, Legends by Lantern runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., inviting guests to experience local folklore and ghost stories by lantern light. π¦
Looking ahead, Turkey Trot + Gobble Wobble is scheduled for November 21st-a fun run and community gathering perfect for the pre-Thanksgiving season. π¦ Then, as the holidays approach, the Dr. Pepper Festival takes over on December 5th, bringing vendors, food, and festive cheer to Spencer. π
ποΈ How to Participate
