🎃 Davy Crockett Campground Hosts Halloween Celebration October 10-31

A campground on the Cumberland Plateau is bringing seasonal festivity to the region with a month-long Halloween celebration featuring trick-or-treating, costume contests, and a ghost tour for registered guests.

🎭 What’s Happening

Davy Crockett Campground is running its Halloween Celebration from October 10th through October 31st, with activities designed for families and guests staying at the facility. The centerpiece is Saturday trick-or-treating from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., giving children a chance to collect candy throughout the event period.

🏆 Contests and Activities

The campground is hosting multiple competitions to encourage participation. Guests can enter their pumpkins in the Best Decorated or Best Carved Pumpkin contest, with separate categories for children and adults. A costume contest is also running, with divisions for children, adults, and dogs-inviting the whole family to dress up and compete.

A chili cook-off is planned for registered guests only, adding a community dining element to the celebration. On October 31st, a ghost tour begins at 8:00 p.m., offering an evening adventure for those interested in a spookier experience. ✨
