🎸 Community Toy Drive & Motorcycle Ride Comes to Whitwell – Live Music, Raffle & Donations for Children in Need

The Sequatchie Volunteer Fire Department is teaming up with Landing Zone Grill in Whitwell to host an annual motorcycle toy drive that welcomes riders and non-riders alike. The event brings together the spirit of giving with live entertainment, turning a Saturday afternoon into a celebration of community generosity.

📍 Event Details & Location

The Community Toy Ride & Toy Drive takes place Saturday, October 24, 2026, at noon in the parking lot next door to Landing Zone Grill in Whitwell. 🏍️ The motorcycle lineup begins at 11 a.m. at Sequatchie Fire Department Station 1 (135 Sequatchie Lane, Sequatchie), with riders departing for the collection point at Landing Zone Grill.

🎵 Live Music & Entertainment

The band Spittsburg will perform live, featuring classic rock music from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. ✨ A raffle will also run throughout the event, with toy and monetary donations entered for a chance to win prizes. All monetary proceeds go directly toward purchasing additional gifts for children in need.

🎁 How to Participate

Attendees can bring a toy or make a monetary donation to enter the raffle. 💝 Importantly, no motorcycle is required-anyone in the community can donate at the parking lot. Passengers on motorcycles can also contribute toys, and their donations will enter them into the raffle as well. The organizers emphasize that all donations, large or small, are greatly appreciated.

❤️ Community Impact

The event reflects a shared commitment to ensuring local children have a meaningful holiday season. By combining a beloved community tradition-the motorcycle ride-with a charitable mission, organizers create an opportunity for neighbors to give back while enjoying live music and fellowship. Whether you ride or simply want to support children in need, the event welcomes all who want to be part of making Christmas special.
