🎄 Christmas Under the Pines Brings Holiday Magic to Downtown Crossville

Downtown Crossville is preparing for a festive evening that blends small-town tradition with community collaboration. On November 28, local businesses and cultural organizations are joining together to create an old-fashioned Christmas experience that invites families to pick fresh trees, enjoy local food, and celebrate the season together.

📍 What to Expect at the Event

Christmas Under the Pines takes place from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the back lot behind Exhale Day Spa of the Cumberlands at 290 Thurman Avenue. The event centers on a working Christmas tree farm where visitors can select and purchase fresh trees, browse garland, and soak in the holiday atmosphere. ✨

The evening is designed as a family-friendly gathering with activities for all ages. Attendees can have their holiday photos taken by Amanda McGinnis, enjoy hot chocolate and treats from The Cookie Box, and warm up with chili at the spa. The Palace will screen Christmas Vacation that evening, offering a cozy indoor option as the night progresses. 🎬

🎭 Local Vendors and Community Partners

The event brings together several local businesses and organizations. Lee’s Flowers will sell wreaths, garland, and holiday décor. The Crossville Markets co-founder will offer sourdough scones. The Cumberland County Playhouse will provide live caroling and small skits celebrating the 2026 Christmas play, adding theatrical flair to the evening’s festivities. 🎵

Pretty Clothes Shoppe Crossville is partnering with Exhale Day Spa to coordinate the event, reflecting a broader effort by downtown merchants to create shared experiences that draw residents and visitors to the area during the holiday season.

💡 Why This Matters for the Community

Events like Christmas Under the Pines strengthen the fabric of local life by creating gathering spaces where neighbors reconnect and families build memories. The collaboration between a spa, retail shops, a theater company, and independent vendors demonstrates how diverse local businesses can pool resources to benefit the entire community. For many residents, these seasonal traditions become touchstones-moments that define what it means to belong to a place. 🌲

The event is open to all, with organizers emphasizing a welcoming atmosphere for everyone in the area.
