Christmas in June: Handcrafted Vanilla Extract Workshop Coming to Whitwell

Dar & Darryl’s Farmstand will host a special handcrafted vanilla extract workshop on Thursday, June 11th at 6 PM. This cozy farmhouse-style evening will give participants the opportunity to create their own premium vanilla extract—perfect for holiday baking and gift-giving later in the year.

The workshop is designed for friends, bakers, gift makers, and holiday enthusiasts of all skill levels. Each $40 ticket includes everything needed to make a batch of vanilla extract: an 8 oz amber glass bottle, Madagascar vanilla beans, a choice of vodka or bourbon, printed instructions and worksheets, and hands-on guidance from the instructors throughout the class.

Participants will also have the option to purchase additional 4 oz Christmas gift bottles during the workshop, making it easy to create multiple gifts. Snacks and refreshments will be available throughout the evening.

Space is extremely limited to only 12 spots for this inaugural workshop. Prepayment is required to reserve a seat, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested participants can comment on the Facebook post or message the page to register. Payment can be made via Venmo (@Darlene-Crider) or Cash App ($Darsfarmstand). Please note that no refunds are available once payment is received.
