📚 Book Lovers' Estate Sale Comes to Cookeville with Treasures from Educator and Librarian

Heirloom & Co. Estate Sales is bringing a curated collection of books and household items to Cookeville this fall, drawing on the personal libraries of two educators whose careers shaped local students and readers. The sale reflects the kinds of collections that accumulate over decades of teaching and library work-the kind of gathering that tells a story about a life spent surrounded by learning.

📖 A Collection Built on Education

The estate features the combined collections of Ms. Kathy, a librarian with more than 20 years of service, and Jack, a teacher at the local high school. Their combined professional lives mean the sale is stocked with books across subjects and genres-from reference works like Roget’s Thesaurus to popular fiction including Harry Potter titles, alongside materials reflecting Spanish language study and presidential history. For book collectors, educators, and readers looking for quality used volumes, the variety suggests something for nearly every interest. ✨

🗓️ When and Where to Shop

The estate sale runs October 29th through November 1st in Cookeville, with doors opening at 9 AM each day. Shoppers can expect to find not only books but also other household treasures and collectibles from the estate. 🏪

💡 Why This Matters Locally

Estate sales like this one serve an important role in Upper Cumberland communities-they help families navigate transitions while giving neighbors and collectors access to quality items with local history. For book lovers in the region, sales featuring substantial libraries are relatively uncommon, making this a notable opportunity to browse collections that reflect decades of reading and teaching in the area. ❤️
