🇺🇸 Bledsoe County High School Honors Veterans with Roll Call Ceremony – November 12, 2026

Every November, Pikeville’s high school community gathers to recognize the men and women who have served in the Armed Forces. This year, Bledsoe County High School is opening the ceremony to honor not just alumni and staff veterans, but any veteran connected to the school family or broader community-whether they can attend or not.

🗓️ When

The Veterans Day Program will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Veterans attending are asked to arrive by 12:30 PM for a small reception and registration before the ceremony begins. 🎖️

📍 Where

The event will be held at Bledsoe County High School in Pikeville. All students, families, and community members are invited to attend and show their support.

✨ Why You’ll Want to Be There

This isn’t just a school assembly-it’s a chance for the entire Sequatchie Valley community to say thank you to those who have sacrificed for our country. The centerpiece of the program is a special “Roll Call” Ceremony that will recognize veterans by name, creating a meaningful moment of acknowledgment. 🇺🇸 Attending veterans will receive preferential seating and be honored throughout the program. The school believes this gathering teaches students the true meaning of service, sacrifice, patriotism, and gratitude.

🎟️ How to Participate

If you know a veteran you’d like honored during the Roll Call-whether a family member, friend, neighbor, or colleague-the school is collecting submissions through a Google Form attached to their announcement. The deadline to submit is Monday, November 2, 2026. ⭐ The form is open to all veterans, including those who cannot attend or have passed away. Your submission ensures they are recognized during the ceremony.

Mark your calendar and bring a friend or family member. If you know a veteran who deserves to be honored, don’t miss the chance to submit their name before the November 2 deadline. This is a meaningful way to show gratitude to those who have served our nation. 🙏
