Chattanooga Renaissance Faire Brings Medieval Magic to Life on May 30, 2026
Mark your calendars for May 30, 2026, when the Chattanooga Renaissance Faire, presented by Verre Noir, will transport visitors back to a time of knights, artisans, and merrymakers. This full day of medieval-themed entertainment and activities promises something for everyone in the family.
The highlight of the faire will be “The Royal Tumble & Toss,” a 45-minute circus variety show featuring local performers Crystalline Creative and JuggleTime. The dynamic duo will take audiences on a comedic adventure as royal jesters Fickle and Fray attempt to prove their worth before the King’s Court through daring juggling, mesmerizing hoop dance, fire performance, acrobatics, and ridiculous feats of balance. With over 25 years of collective performance experience, these performers blend circus arts, comedy, and chaotic medieval mischief into a show suitable for nobles and peasants alike.
Beyond the main performance, attendees will enjoy a full marketplace experience. Local artisans will showcase their crafts, including demonstrations of calligraphy, leatherwork, and metalcraft. Live music and roaming performers will entertain throughout the grounds, while costumed characters engage with visitors. The Queen’s High Tea offers a special experience for those seeking royal treatment.
Families will find plenty to do, with creative activities, kids’ craft stations, and costume contests available throughout the day. Food vendors will serve themed treats worthy of a medieval feast, and nearby shops offer additional shopping opportunities.
