🧙‍♂️ Wizards, Wands & Waffle Cones Come to Dunlap for Harry Potter Family Fun

Sequatchie County families are invited to step into the wizarding world this Monday when Udder Yum Ice Cream Shoppe and the Sequatchie County Public Library team up for a magical Harry Potter-themed celebration. The event brings beloved book and film favorites to life through themed treats and community storytelling.

✨ What to Expect

The “Scoops ‘n Stories” event, titled “Wizards, Wands & Waffle Cones,” features Harry Potter-inspired ice cream treats including Butterbeer, Chocolate Frogs, and Edible Golden Snitches. 🍺🐸 The collaboration blends the library’s literary programming with Udder Yum’s creative dessert menu, creating an afternoon of themed fun for young readers and families.

📍 When & Where

The event takes place Monday, October 19, at Udder Yum Ice Cream Shoppe in Dunlap. 🗓️ Ice cream is sold separately, allowing families to enjoy the themed experience at their own pace.

💡 Why It Matters

Community partnerships like this one strengthen local connections between schools, libraries, and neighborhood businesses. By bringing popular storytelling themes into real-world experiences, the event encourages young readers to engage with literature while supporting a local ice cream parlor. 📚✨ For families in the valley, it’s an affordable way to celebrate reading and imagination together.
