Crossville’s dog-friendly gathering spot is bringing together live music, food, and a chance to find a new furry family member all in one weekend. The lineup combines entertainment with community service, offering something for music lovers and animal advocates alike.

🎤 Friday Night: Free Concert with Voice Contestants

Friday, October 23, Ales & Tails will host a free live concert from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. featuring two contestants from Season 16 of NBC’s The Voice-Mari Crain and Jacob Maxwell. The event will also include food from Double D’s Munchies food truck, making it an evening of music, food, and cold drinks in a relaxed outdoor setting. 🍔

🐕 Weekend Adoption Events

Saturday and Sunday, October 24-25, the venue will host pet adoption events from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days. The Cumberland County Animal Shelter will be on-site Saturday, while Focus on Cumberland County Animal Safety will lead Sunday’s adoption effort. Both organizations emphasize the “Adopt Don’t Shop” message, giving local residents the opportunity to meet dogs available for adoption. ❤️

💡 Why This Matters

The weekend lineup reflects a growing trend in the region of combining social gathering spaces with community service. By pairing entertainment with adoption outreach, Ales & Tails is creating an accessible way for families and individuals to explore pet adoption while enjoying live music and local food vendors. For animal shelters in Cumberland County, weekend events like this expand their reach beyond traditional adoption hours and help connect more animals with permanent homes. 🌟
