๐น National Archery Scholarship Tour Comes to Tennessee Valley in 2027
Evolution Archery in Soddy-Daisy is hosting the Tennessee Valley 600, a regional stop on the National Archery Scholarship Tour-a nationwide series of indoor tournaments that combines competitive archery with real educational funding opportunities for young athletes.
๐ What Is the National Archery Scholarship Tour?
The National Archery Scholarship Tour is designed to celebrate youth archers, expand competition opportunities, and promote archery as a lifelong sport. Both youth and adult archers compete across multiple divisions and skill levels. The tour’s defining feature: scholarship awards. At the end of the indoor season, the top 8 youth archers in each scholarship category-based on national ranking-receive awards paid directly into a U.S. 529 Education Savings Plan or to an eligible post-secondary school or program, including universities, technical schools, trade schools, and culinary schools. ๐
In total, 192 indoor scholarship awards are available nationwide based on national ranking. Archers can compete in as many Tour events as they choose throughout the season, but may receive only one National Scholarship Award per category.
๐ฏ The Tennessee Valley 600 Event
Evolution Archery is the local host for the Tennessee Valley 600, scheduled for November 2026. The event follows a 600 Round format: 12 ends, 5 arrows per end, with 4 minutes per end. โฑ๏ธ Competitors can participate in one event or the entire tour series. Local awards may also be offered by the host venue.
๐ Scholarship and Medal Categories
The tour offers two levels of recognition. The Scholarship Category awards the top 8 men and women in age divisions 14U, 19U, and Collegiate across four disciplines: Barebow, Compound, Fixed Pin, and Recurve. The Medal Only Category recognizes the top 3 competitors in men and women’s 14U, 19U, Genesis, and Adult divisions in the same four disciplines. ๐ฅ
๐ Tour Schedule and Registration
The 2027 tour includes events across the nation. In Tennessee, archers can compete in the Tennessee Valley 600 in November and the Music City 600 in December. Other regional events span Delaware, Florida, Alaska, California, Nevada, Indiana, Kentucky, Texas, Washington, Nebraska, Illinois, New York, and beyond. ๐บ๏ธ
Registration for the Tennessee Valley event and other tour stops is available at archeryscholarshiptour.com. Evolution Archery encourages young and adult archers in the region to consider joining the tour-whether for the competition, the scholarship opportunity, or simply to be part of a nationwide community of archers.
