🥎 Ball Out for Bella: SCHS Softball Alum Game Raises Funds for Local Family in Dunlap, TN – October 24

When a family in the Sequatchie Valley faces an unexpected health crisis, the community responds-and the softball family is stepping up in a big way. Former Sequatchie County High School players are coming together for a benefit game that combines the sport they love with the chance to make a real difference for one of their own.

🗓️ When It Happens

The alum vs. alum game takes place on Saturday, October 24 at 1:00 p.m. 🎗️ All former players, family members, friends, and fans are welcome to attend and cheer on the field.

📍 Where to Go

The game will be held at the SCHS softball field in Dunlap. Food, baked goods, and merchandise sales will be set up behind the scoreboard, making it easy to grab a bite and support the cause while you watch.

✨ What to Expect

This isn’t just a game-it’s a full community event. 🍔 Holloway's food truck will be on-site, along with homemade baked goods for sale. A silent auction and t-shirt sales will also be happening behind the scoreboard, giving attendees multiple ways to contribute. If you’d prefer to make a direct donation to the family, that option is available too.

The energy will be real: former teammates reuniting on the diamond, the crack of the bat, and the knowledge that every dollar raised goes directly to support Bella Cooper’s family during their time of need. 💜💛 It’s the kind of moment that reminds you why high school sports matter-the bonds forged on the field last a lifetime.

❤️ Why This Matters

One of the SCHS softball family received a diagnosis no parent ever wants to hear. In response, the alum community is rallying to show support and ease the financial burden on the family. All proceeds from the game, food sales, auction, and t-shirt sales will go directly to the family of Bella Cooper.

🎟️ How to Attend

Just show up on October 24 at 1:00 p.m. There’s no ticket required-admission is free, and you can spend as much or as little as you’d like on food, auction items, or direct donations. Bring your family, bring a friend, and bring your appetite. 🌟

Mark your calendar for October 24 and plan to spend your Saturday afternoon supporting a local family while celebrating the spirit of Sequatchie County softball. Whether you’re a former player, a longtime fan, or just someone who believes in showing up for neighbors in need, this game is for you.
