🏐 Bledsoe County Schools Returns to Regular Schedule After State Volleyball Tournament
Bledsoe County Schools announced that Friday, October 23, will be a regular school day for all students and staff, following the outcome of the state volleyball tournament. The district had previously indicated the day could shift to virtual learning if the Lady Warriors advanced to the championship game.
π What Changed
In a message from Kristy Walker, Director of Schools, the district confirmed that the Bledsoe County Lady Warriors volleyball team was defeated in their state tournament match. π Because the team will not be competing in the championship game on Friday, the school day will proceed as normally scheduled rather than moving to remote instruction.
β Recognizing the Season
Despite the tournament loss, district leadership expressed pride in the Lady Warriors and their coaching staff for an outstanding season and for representing Bledsoe County at the state level. β¨ Walker noted the accomplishment of reaching state competition and encouraged the community to continue supporting the team as they compete for third place in the tournament.
ποΈ What Parents and Students Should Know
All students and staff should plan for a regular school day on Friday, October 23. π No changes to the daily schedule, virtual learning arrangements, or dismissal times are in effect. Families who had made adjustments based on the earlier possibility of a virtual day may now resume normal routines.
