🚜 TFC Foundation's Driven to Serve Scholarship Opens Doors for Agriculture Students
The Tennessee Farmers Cooperative Foundation is supporting the next generation of agricultural professionals through its Driven to Serve Scholarship program, recognizing students who combine classroom learning with real-world farm and co-op experience. For students across the region pursuing agriculture careers, this opportunity can help turn hands-on work into educational advancement.
π Meet the 2026-2027 Recipient
Dillon Parish has been selected as the 2026-2027 Driven to Serve scholarship recipient. The announcement, shared by White County Farmer’s Co-op General Manager and TFC Foundation Board Member Debb Dunn, highlights the foundation’s commitment to students who are actively working within the agricultural cooperative system while pursuing their degrees. π
β Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is open to students who meet three key requirements:
- At least three months of employment or internship experience with the Tennessee Farmers Cooperative (TFC) or a member co-op, or current part-time or full-time work
- Enrollment in a degree program in agriculture or a related field
- Maintenance of a minimum 2.5 GPA
π‘ Why This Matters
Agricultural careers require both classroom knowledge and practical experience. The TFC Foundation’s Driven to Serve Scholarship recognizes that students who work within the cooperative system-gaining hands-on expertise in feed, fuel, agronomy, and equipment-are investing in their future while contributing to their communities. πΎ By supporting these students financially, the foundation strengthens the pipeline of skilled professionals who understand rural agriculture from the ground up.
