🎃 Community Comes Together to Support Dunlap's Spook Stroll

The annual Spook Stroll in Dunlap brought together a wide network of local businesses, organizations, and volunteers who made the Halloween celebration possible. The community event showcased the kind of grassroots support that keeps valley traditions alive year after year.

📍 A Broad Show of Support

More than 35 local businesses and organizations stepped up to help make the Spook Stroll a success. The list of supporters reflects the diversity of Dunlap’s commercial and civic landscape-from retail shops and restaurants to service providers, nonprofits, and local government agencies. 🤝

Among those thanked were Creation Station, Sequatchie Valley Pest Control, Postal Annex, Sequatchie County Highway Dept., and Dunlap Police Dept., alongside community staples like Little Caesars, El Metate, Grayson's Bakeshop, and Udder Yum Ice Cream. Youth-focused businesses including Adrenaline Trampoline Park and Kiddo Kove also contributed, as did civic organizations like the Lions Club and CASA. 🎉

💡 Why Local Support Matters

Events like the Spook Stroll depend on the willingness of businesses to donate time, resources, or goods-often without expectation of direct return. When a restaurant provides food, a pest control company offers supplies, or a local government department helps with logistics, they’re investing in the fabric of community life. ✨

The post accompanying the thank-you list carried a simple but powerful message: “Remember to support the businesses that support your community.” It’s a reminder that patronizing local shops and services isn’t just about transactions-it’s about sustaining the organizations that make events like this possible. 💼

🎪 What Comes Next

As the holiday season approaches, many of these same businesses and organizations will likely be involved in other community events and celebrations. The Spook Stroll’s success demonstrates the strength of Dunlap’s collaborative spirit and sets a foundation for continued community engagement throughout the year. 🌄
