🐺 North River Fall Cheer Season Sign-Ups Open Through July 2 — $160 All-Inclusive

As summer approaches in the Sequatchie Valley, North River is gearing up for another competitive cheer season, offering young athletes in the region a chance to build skills and school spirit ahead of the fall sports calendar. This is a key opportunity for middle school cheerleaders looking to develop fundamentals and join a supportive team environment.

📝 What’s happening: North River is now accepting registrations for its fall cheer season, which runs from July through November with a special appearance in the Soddy Daisy Christmas parade in December. Interested cheerleaders must sign up by July 2 to secure a spot, as the organization will place uniform orders after that deadline. The $160 registration fee covers a complete uniform package, including a bow and poms. 🎀

🗓️ When & Where

Practices will kick off on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00–7:00 p.m., starting July 21. 🏟️ Most home games will be held at Sale Creek football stadium, located behind North Hamilton County Elementary, though the season does include some travel to away games.

✨ What Cheerleaders Will Learn

Participants will master cheer fundamentals including stretching, jumps, motions, and acro tumbling, plus learn cheers, chants, and choreographed dances. 💃 Beyond technical skills, cheerleaders will develop teamwork and leadership qualities while preparing for the middle school experience. Throughout the season, they’ll cheer at middle school and high school games, perform at halftime shows, participate in homecoming recognition, and enjoy fun themed practices led by experienced high school cheerleaders. 🌟

🎉 Season Highlights

The cheer season is packed with memorable experiences: cheerleaders will run through for football teams before games, perform during halftime, earn homecoming recognition, attend an end-of-practice party, celebrate at an end-of-season banquet, and march in the Soddy Daisy Christmas parade. 🎄

📣 How to Sign Up

Interested families should register as soon as possible to guarantee a uniform order. 📋 Sign-ups close on July 2—no registrations will be accepted after that date. For questions or to enroll, reach out to Tara Richmond through the North River cheer program. Don’t miss this chance to join the pack! 🐺
