12-Year-Old Launches Trash Can Cleaning Service in Sequatchie Valley — Starting June 29th 🛹♻️

A young entrepreneur in the Sequatchie Valley is turning ambition into action this summer, launching a trash can cleaning business that reflects the region’s growing culture of youth-led small enterprises and community service. The venture showcases how local families are encouraging their children to build work ethic and independence while contributing to neighborhood pride.

Meet The Trash Can Kid — a motivated 12-year-old who is officially opening for business on June 29th, offering professional trash can cleaning services throughout the Sequatchie Valley and surrounding areas. 🧹 According to an announcement shared in the Dunlap Enquirer community group, the young entrepreneur started this venture to learn responsibility, gain real-world work experience, build something of his own, and serve his neighbors.

The business model emphasizes hands-on learning and accountability. 📚 The young owner’s parent will be on site during each service call to provide guidance and support, but the business operations—scheduling, customer service, and the actual cleaning work—will fall entirely on the young entrepreneur. This approach ensures he learns the full scope of what it takes to run a service business while building confidence in his abilities.

📍 What The Trash Can Kid Is Offering

Pricing details will be announced this Monday, but the business is already rolling out several customer incentives to build its initial client base. ✨ Special offers include first-service discounts, dedicated pricing for military members, veterans, and first responders, HOA and community group discounts, and monthly service plan options for regular customers.

Interested community members can reach out via email, phone, text, or direct message to schedule a cleaning or ask questions. 💬 The announcement has already generated interest from local residents, with several expressing enthusiasm for supporting a young local business owner.

💡 Why This Matters for the Community

The launch reflects a broader trend of young people in the Sequatchie Valley taking initiative to earn money while developing entrepreneurial skills. 🌟 Parents and neighbors have responded positively, recognizing the value of youth-led businesses that combine service, learning, and community investment. As one community member commented, “It’s so good that you will be guiding and helping him learn. I applaud his ambition!”
