Emerald Crossing VBS in Whitwell — Kickoff June 20, Full Week June 22–26

South Whitwell Baptist Church is hosting a Vacation Bible School program designed to help young people navigate anxiety and find hope through faith—a timely offering as summer activities ramp up across the Sequatchie Valley.

Emerald Crossing VBS will kick off with a special event on Saturday, June 20, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., featuring food, fun, and an obstacle course to get families excited about the week ahead. The full VBS program will then run June 22–26 at 8:30 a.m. (Central Time), with classes available for multiple age groups.

The program’s theme, “Providing Hope in an Anxious Generation,” focuses on helping children build a foundation in faith while learning to manage worry and stress. According to the church’s promotional materials, Emerald Crossing offers a clear pathway to peace through God’s word and adventure-based learning.
