Morton Industries Seeks Community Nominations for Best Place to Work and Best Local Business Awards — Voting Through June 23
Manufacturing and industrial businesses across the Sequatchie Valley region continue to play a vital role in the area’s economic foundation, and recognition programs like Peoria’s Community Choice Awards highlight the employers and companies that invest in their workforces and communities. Morton Industries, an 80-year-old manufacturer based in Peoria, Illinois, is now asking for community support to defend its titles from last year’s awards.
Morton Industries won both Best Place to Work and Best Local Business in last year’s Peoria Community’s Choice Awards, and the company is launching a campaign to earn those honors again. The company is calling on employees, customers, partners, and community members to submit nominations through June 23.
To participate, voters can nominate Morton Industries once per day through the voting deadline. The company emphasizes that nominations must spell “Morton Industries” exactly as written to be counted. Community members are also encouraged to share the nomination link and spread the word about the campaign on social media.
According to the company, Morton Industries has spent more than eight decades focused on “improving lives through security, opportunity, and partnerships while building a workplace where people can grow, succeed, and enjoy what they do.” The company frames the awards campaign as a way to continue that legacy with continued community support.
