Bon Air Mountain Community Church Hosting Food Giveaway Saturday
Bon Air Mountain Community Church in Sparta is opening its doors this Saturday, May 30th, to distribute food items to community members in need. The giveaway will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the church’s location on 6389 Crossville Highway.
According to an announcement from the church, attendees are encouraged to enter through the back door and should bring containers or bags to carry their food items home. The church is particularly well-stocked with eggs this year and notes that everyone who attends will receive some.
“We were blessed with lots of eggs so everyone can get some eggs,” the church stated in their announcement. The giveaway will continue while supplies last, and all community members are welcome to attend.
The church is also requesting donations of grocery sacks and empty egg cartons from those who may have extras available. These items will help facilitate the distribution process.
In addition to the food giveaway, the church’s clothing pavilion will also be open during the event. For more information about the giveaway or other church services, community members can contact Bon Air Mountain Community Church at 419-296-3524. Pastor Rodney Ritchie leads the congregation, which holds Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and worship services at 10 a.m. each Sunday.
