Local Business Honors Armed Forces and First Responders with Permanent Discount Program

A Sequatchie Valley business is taking a meaningful step to show appreciation for those who serve and protect the community. CWC Thrift Store announced a permanent 25% discount for all active duty military members, veterans, and first responders as a token of gratitude for their service and sacrifice.

The announcement, made on May 26, reflects a thoughtful philosophy about honoring those who dedicate their lives to public service. Rather than waiting until it’s too late to express gratitude, the business owner emphasized the importance of thanking heroes while they can still hear the appreciation firsthand.

“If you serve or have served in the armed forces or if you are a first responder, we want to say thank you for all you do before it’s too late for you to hear it,” CWC Thrift Store stated in their announcement to the community.

The discount program is permanent, meaning eligible individuals can take advantage of the 25% savings every time they visit. Those who qualify simply need to identify themselves as active duty, veterans, or first responders at checkout to receive the discount.

This initiative comes as part of a broader community effort to recognize the contributions of military personnel and first responders. CWC Thrift Store emphasized that while the discount may seem modest compared to the sacrifices made by these individuals, it represents a genuine expression of community support and appreciation.

Community members interested in learning more about this discount program are encouraged to contact the business directly at checkout or through the Sequatchie Valley Small Businesses community group on Facebook.
